GODLY COURAGE — AS BOLD AS A LION

by John Prosser

AS BOLD AS A LION

The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions. Evil people don’t understand justice, but those who follow the LORD understand completely.  Proverbs 28:1, 5 NLT

God’s Word is a wellspring of strength, renewing our minds and anchoring us in His promises, presence, and sovereignty — especially in dark and perilous times. It fortifies our faith daily, equipping us to face challenges with fearless resolve. Set apart in Christ Jesus (the Lion of the Tribe of Judah), we embody a boldness rooted in trust and confidence in His triumph, as declared in Revelation 5:5 “… Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne, has won the victory.” (NLT)

Today, our ministry, Operation Exodus USA, faces a new reality in fulfilling our mandate to assist Jewish people making Aliyah — returning to their ancestral homeland of Israel. Though obstacles are uncertain, our resolve is unshaken — we press forward in His righteousness, courage, and boldness, undeterred by any circumstance. We will remain steadfast in prayer and support, helping God’s chosen people return home.

Evil forces seek to undermine God’s truth and His divine plan to gather His people back to Israel. Yet, this is a move ordained by the hand of God — a spiritual homecoming foretold throughout Scripture. The prophets envisioned this ingathering from the nations, including from prosperous lands like the United States, where millions of Jews reside today. As written in Hosea 11:10, “They will follow the LORD; he will roar like a lion. When he roars, his children will come trembling from the west.” (NIV)

This holy work demands unwavering courage — a boldness rooted in God’s righteousness.

Today, this courage is urgently needed as we rally to support

Israel, confronting the rise of anti-Semitism with God’s truth, and providing assistance in any way we can to “carry His sons and daughters” home.

Will you stand with us in the days ahead through prayer and support? We need those called by the Lord — empowered by the Holy Spirit — to stand firm and fearless. As Psalm 112:6-8 assures us: “Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered. They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.” (NLT) This quiet and bold confidence flows from fearing God alone.

To those who faithfully stand with us through fervent prayer and steadfast support, I extend my deepest gratitude on behalf of Operation Exodus USA. Your unwavering commitment to God’s call, your bold stand for Israel, and your support of God’s holy work of Aliyah are testaments to your faithful service.

God’s timing demands patient waiting, not presumption. The “tsunami” of Aliyah is being orchestrated by the hand of the Father, and His timing is flawless! Thank you for waiting with us. Together, let us move forward with lion-like boldness, anchored in God’s Word and empowered by His Spirit, to fulfill this holy mission.

Be still in the presence of the LORD and wait patiently for him to act. Psalm 37:7 NLT
