“I was born in Israel and moved to the U.S at the age of four. Growing up as a child, we still kept up speaking Hebrew at home, and keeping Israeli traditions. We also would visit around every year to visit family and friends. My oldest brother, Idan, made Aliyah in 2013… Going into my senior year, I knew I would have to make a decision whether I wanted to move back to Israel, or continue to college. It was extremely tough for me to decide, so I took a gap year and spent 5 months living on a kibbutz in Israel. These were hands down the best 5 months of my life, and when I got to the airport in Tel Aviv, and practically cried the whole way back to Milwaukee, I knew what my heart wanted. I always waited for a sign, something to tell me what to do, but in the end, my biggest sign was myself and I am excited for this next journey in my life. And I think what your organization is doing is absolutely amazing!”
